Sensory Sports Day

Date: Saturday 5th September

Time: 10am – 12pm

Details: We are proud to host our iconic ‘Sensory Sports Day’. This is a special tradition at Rosemont House Montessori where our families come together for a playful day of sensory sports!

This year – for the very first time – we are offering spaces to prospective families who are interested in joining our community! If you are looking for an early learning and care environment for your child, you can skip the traditional tour or Open Day and instead come along to be part of our community at play! Attending will give you the chance to…

  • Get to know our amazing educators,
  • Meet families who are already part of our community,
  • See our spectacular environment!

Do I need to register?

YES! Registrations are required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child in attendance.

Spaces for prospective families are strictly limited so that we can prioritise access for current members of our community.

We will be checking registrations on the day of the event. Thank you for your understanding and support.

If you’re ready to register, please scroll down and click the ‘Register Here’ button.

What is Sensory Sports Day?

On Sensory Sports Day children and families are invited to participate in a range of games and activities that are always fun and joyful (and sometimes a little messy – it is a ‘sensory’ Sports Day after all!) There is truly something for everyone, we encourage children, parents and grandparents alike to get hands-on, active and playful!

Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes so you are ready to move (and won’t mind getting a little messy!)

Why is it on the weekend of Father’s Day?

Our Sensory Sports Day reflects our ongoing commitment to community, particularly our connection with The Fathering Project and Play Active.

The Fathering Project supports, educates and engages fathers (and other prominent male figures in a child’s life) because…

“Every child thrives
when dads Show up.”

Play Active supports early childhood education and care services to boost children’s energetic play, throughout the day, every day to inspire…

Active, Happy Healthy Children

The Fathering Project and Play Active are embedded aspects of our community and our early childhood program, so we are proud to celebrate and share our values by hosting this special event to foster playful and active family fun for father’s day weekend!
